We are fortunate to have a large scholarship programs in Petroleum Engineering. This coupled with low tuition and fees combine to make KU very affordable. Over 75% of our students are on scholarship support from the Department. Our awards range from $ 2000 - $ 5000 per year and are generally renewable for up to 4 years ( 5 years if you have a semester abroad).
In addition, scholarships are available from the School of Engineering and the University of Kansas office of student financial aid. Many of our students receive scholarship support from all three sources. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions about scholarship availability.
